Home » Technology » Extraction ResultsThe AlgaFrac™ Process has been applied to algae supplied by many of the top companies aimed at producing algae for fuel. SRS worked together with CEHMM over 18 months to first help validate lipid content from algae grown in their ponds, and then to prove both the growth and extractable lipids could be sustained through change of seasons.
The results show that algae with high lipid content can be grown efficiently and lipids can be extracted effectively.
