Sample Screening

SRS will provide lab analysis of samples to identify true extractable lipid content of your algae species. Traditional lab methods (such as Bligh-Dyer) developed for foods and oilseeds has proven notoriously inaccurate when applied to the hardy algae strains which will survive in open pond environments. Cost of these services depend on the number of samples screened and analytical testing required.
